RETAIL SHOPS 

PERIDOT, named after the birthstone of August, the month the first shop opened, was established in 2001 and currently consists of two retail shops in the North East of England, United Kingdom. 

We are eclectic, quirky, gift and interiors shops nestled in the heart of the villages of Sedgefield and Norton, County Durham. 

We pride ourselves on offering a personal and friendly service to both our loyal regular and new customers alike. 

Upon visiting PERIDOT you will discover an Aladdin's cave full of gorgeous shabby chic furniture, beautiful lighting and exquisite home accessories, as well as a fabulous selection of glamorous jewellery, ladies clothing, scarves, handbags and many more items.

Whether you are looking for a decorative table lamp to elevate your home or a statement jewellery piece to make you stand out, you are sure to find something you will fall in love with at PERIDOT.

Due to strong demand we have recently decided to open our online eShop in addition to the retail shops.

ONLINE E-SHOP

Our eShop was established in 2020.

Our stock is chosen based on our best selling products in our retail stores and changes on a regular basis. 

We also sell 'Online Exclusives', which are products we do not sell in our retail shops and are exclusively available to purchase on our website.

All payments processed are 100% secure.

We accept the following payment methods - Amazon Pay, Amex, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Maestro, MasterCard, PayPal, Shop Pay and Visa.

We sell internationally to the following countries - Australia, Canada, Denmark, Germany, Hong Kong SAR China, Ireland, Italy, Japan, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom, United States (Not US territories except Puerto Rico).

We offer an easy 'Purchase and Return' service. 

Once your order has been placed you will receive an order confirmation with a Track Your Order link. You can check the status of the order by either pressing this link or by clicking 'Tracking' and entering your order number and email address on our dedicated tracking page.

We offer a local pickup option at checkout so customers can choose one of our retail stores to collect their online order. Please wait until you receive an email confirming the order is ready for collection before visiting, which is normally 24 hours after purchase. Collection is Monday - Saturday, 11am - 4pm and you do not need to let us know the day or time when you will be collecting your order. You will need to show either the order confirmation or Your Order Is Ready To Collect email at the time of collection.

We also offer a FREE local delivery option at checkout to customers residing in the postal code areas starting with TS22 and TS21, which covers Wynyard and Sedgefield. Delivery is Monday - Saturday, after 5pm.

Returns are a simple process of clicking 'Refunds' and following the instructions.

Once a return is approved within 2 working days our U.K. based customers will receive an email with a FREE 'CollectPlus' returns label to attach to your parcel to drop off at any of the 7,500 stores offering the 'CollectPlus' service throughout the U.K.

For our international customers we include a returns address label with every purchase for your convenience.

NEWSLETTERS 

If you subscribe to our Newsletter you will receive a 10% discount code to use on our eShop.

The code will automatically be emailed to you as soon as you subscribe, if you do not see the email in your inbox please check your spam or junk folder, if it is still not visible please contact us and we will advise the unique discount code linked to your account.

You will also be first to receive news concerning our latest stock, to include our Christmas launch, which takes place every October, together with details of our promotional offers and sales events of both our retail shops and eShop.

If you notice that you are not receiving newsletters from us please check your spam or junk folder and consider adding our email address to your contacts. 

You can unsubscribe at any time through the unsubscribe link at the bottom of all newsletters or contact us directly and we will unsubscribe you from all future newsletters.

GIFT CARDS

If you are shopping for someone else but are not sure what to give, then give the gift of choice with a PERIDOT gift card, with no additional processing fees.

Gift cards purchased online are electronic, can only be used on our eShop and expire 12 months from the date of purchase.

Denominations are £20, £30, £40, £50, £100, £200, £250 and £500.

Delivery is by email with instructions of how they can be redeemed at checkout.

Gift cards purchased in our stores can only be used in our stores and expire 12 months from the date of purchase.

Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash or refunded. 

SOCIAL MEDIA

You may wish to follow our Social Media accounts.

We have separate Facebook and Instagram accounts for our eShop and retail shops. These are frequently updated with content to include new stock, promotional offers and sales events.

The eShop accounts showcases the stock available to purchase online and the retail accounts showcases the stock available in our shops.

All stock on our website can also be purchased directly from our shops on Facebook and Instagram, with checkout being completed on our website.
