Returns and Refund Policy
This policy applies to all orders placed via peridotshop.co.uk. For our brick-and-mortar boutique purchases, please contact your local store directly.
1. Our Return Standards
We offer an extended 30-day return window from the date of delivery. To ensure the integrity of our curated inventory, items must be returned in their original, "as new" condition:
- Unused: Items must show no signs of use, marks, or wear.
- Original Packaging: All branded boxes, protective inserts, and luxury gift wrapping must be returned intact.
- Documentation: Any authenticity cards, certificates, or manuals included with your item must be returned.
- Tamper Seals: If an item arrived with a hygiene or tamper-evident seal, this must remain unbroken.
2. Exclusions and Statutory Rights
In accordance with UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, your rights vary depending on the timeframe:
- Statutory Right to Cancel (14 Days): You have a legal right to change your mind and return most items—including Sale and Christmas Collection items—for a full refund within 14 days of receipt.
- Extended Policy (15–30 Days): Beyond the initial 14-day statutory period, our voluntary 30-day window applies. During this extended period, we cannot accept returns for items marked as 'Final Sale' or from our 'Christmas Collection' unless they are faulty.
- Made-to-Order: Items from our ‘Signature Collection’ are handcrafted specifically for your order. These are exempt from the right to cancel and cannot be returned unless received faulty.
- Gift Cards: e-Gift Cards are non-refundable and expire 12 months from the date of purchase.
3. Return Options
Please visit our Returns Portal (found in the footer of our website) to initiate your request.
- Boutique Return (Complimentary): Return your item in person to one of our retail boutiques for a free, instant handover.
- Self-Ship: You may arrange a return via a reputable carrier of your choice. We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured service, as we are not liable for items lost or damaged in transit.
- Arranged Return: Alternatively, we can arrange a return via our carriers; the cost will be deducted from your final refund.
4. Refunds
- Inspection: Once received, our specialists will inspect your item within 2 working days.
- Processing: Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 7 working days. Please allow 7–10 days for the credit to appear on your statement, depending on your bank's terms.
- Shipping & Deductions:
- If you cancel your entire order within the 14-day statutory window, we will refund the standard outbound shipping cost.
- For returns made after 14 days, or partial returns, original shipping charges are non-refundable.
- Any costs for an Arranged Return will be deducted from the refund total unless the item is faulty.
5. Damaged or Defective Items
We take great pride in the craftsmanship of our pieces. Upon delivery, please inspect your order immediately. To ensure a seamless resolution, we request that any damage sustained during transit be reported to our Specialist Team within 48 hours of delivery.
For items confirmed as defective or damaged on arrival, we provide complimentary return shipping and will prioritize a replacement or a full refund to your original payment method. Please note that reporting transit damage promptly allows us to address the issue with our couriers effectively. Your statutory rights, including your 30-day right to reject faulty goods under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, remain unaffected.
6. Gifts
Items marked as a "Gift" at checkout will be refunded via a Digital Gift Card sent directly to the recipient. If the item was not marked as a gift, the refund will be processed to the original purchaser.
